FUTURO DO CUMBUCO – Brazil’s Pure Kitesurfers

Cumbuco in the North Eastern Brazilian province of Ceara has become one of the worlds most sought-out destinations for the increasingly popular watersport of Kitesurfing. Whilst its mecca status is bringing visitors from all over the world to the former fishing village its the local community that are most immersed in the high flying sport. Futuro do Cumbuco is a self developed initiative that supports the local youth in their passion for kitesurfing and the possibilities that may open whilst encouraging their commitment to school and their education.
